NAVY BLUE- blue, blue, blue,..

Navy. navy, navy blue!
I love blues, I lovelovelove blues!
I love the navy look, think it's absolutely beautiful. Instantly fell in love with this guy.
It's Butter London's ROYAL BLUE<3
The colour doesn't appear as beautiful as it is on this pic but it's just gorgeous.
Also it looks stunning with  DIAMOND GEEZER  and I like to wear those colors as a french manicure.

Nothing more to say today!
If you have any Ideas or questions on looks or reviews just let me know!
Looking forward to write a longer post in the future again.

Sending much love to y'all!

HATE, HATE, HATE and MORE HATE!

Hello beautiful people!
I have a "serious" issue that I wanted to tell you about.
Well, when I first researched vegan nail polishes I came across many brands I did not know yet.
One of them was SPA RITUAL.
Just like NUBAR the colours were nice and unique and I really wanted to try them out someday. Well, and just like NUBAR this one has extremely disappointed me in every possible way!
I honestly have nothing good to say about SPA RITUAL except for that the colours are lovely!
First of all I bought them more than 5 weeks ago! Yes, I've waited to write this review because when I first tried them out I got sooo mad that this post would  be more like a hate letter than a review (if you think this is extreme, you should have seen me when I first applied them! haha).
And also I thought maybe I would change my mind and maybe like them after all but I DO NOT!
I am sorry.
I was so excited when I bought them and the woman I got them from was lovely and gave me a discount on them when I told her I was going to review them on my blog but NO, SIR! I don't like them.
Okay, here are my reasons why those guys probably will never appear on my nails:

-they look awesome in the bottle but are not even pigmented enough to cover smoothly
-I needed 5 freaking coats of the blue/purple and green!
-I ended up with marks on my nails after they were dry just because 5 layers are TOO.EFFING.MUCH!
-the pastel yellow colour is streaky and gooey
-3 coats are not enough to get an even coverage with the yellow one
-and the brush is annoying

I will probably never wear them again except for as a topcoat over a base or in water marble designs.
Oh, one positive aspect 'bout them: they're vegan!
That's all I had to say.

FACE CHART

Hello!
I saw this face chart on Facebook today and thought it would be a cool look to recreate and it was so easy!
(Oh and please forgive me for not concealing my eyebrows, my glue is hiding from me)
So here we go, I used:
-Lime Crime's ABRACADABRA on the lid (pink with a beautiful blueish shimmer!)
-blended Manic Panic's VAMPIRE RED over and above the pink
-mixed in Sugarpill's BUTTERCUP (to create the orange) and then added more of the yellow BUTTERCUP eyeshadow and blended it around the eyeshadow and towards the hairline
-Sugarpill's POISON PLUM under the eye
-mascara, pink blush, OCC's TRICK dabbed on the lips and some highlights. DONE

Thanks<3
xoxo,
Alex

GLOSSY BLACK MEDUSA EYES

Tagchen!
Why medusa? Maybe 'cause I'm an absolute idiot in finding a cool headline for my posts (as you already know!) so I decided to take the name of the pigment I used!
Well, this look is old. I did that a long time ago and was not sure whether I would upload it or not.
But now I did and here we go! I just used two products: OCC's lip tar in TARRED and Lime Crime's pigment in MEDUSA.
Absolutely love glossy eyes and I would totally wear that to a concert or a night out with friends!

Enough now,
kisses!

Sante polish review

Hey y'all!
I've already done a little review on this polish but (shame on me)  I haven't had any pics of it until now.
Sooooo,... Ya, well It's a deep red/burgundy colour  (No. 10) with gold sparkle to it. Like the red a lot but sadly it did not last 48 hours without chipping. The application was nice and you're good to go with two layers but I wouldn't wear this one on it's own but maybe as a topcoat to add some fun sparkle to your nails!

That's all for now.
Much love,
xoxo Alex

Butter London DIAMOND GEEZER

HI!!
Just imagine I screamed that right in your face!

Why? 'cause it's almost 2am and I have to get up in 5 hours but before that I want to finish another 4 posts (also already wrote 4).
That's why.
Enough, this polish is the incarnation of sparkle
! If I'd have to invent something that is glittery and bright silver it would be this polish. The glitter particles are super tiny so that it almost hurts your eyes when you look at this sparkly sensation<3
Sadly ( and I've noticed that with a few glitter ones) one can just peel the polish off of one's nails so it won't last for too long. But I don't mind that, this varnish is just fantastic and looks just utterly beautiful combined with Butter London's ROYAL NAVY.

xoxo, Alex

Hourglass VEIL Foundation

Bonjour mes amis!
I'd like to introduce you to my current love: my Hourglass foundations and primer<3

I got those little wonders from Zuneta.com  and they arrived very quickly within two days (woho!).
Well, to begin with: I got two
VEIL FLUID MAKEUP OIL FREE SPF 15 foundations in No.1 IVORY and No. 1.5 NUDE  and one VEIL MINERAL PRIMER OIL FREE SPF 15.
Basic stuff: the lovely packaging says the foundations are: SPF 15, paraben free, fragrance free, oil free, nanoparticle free, sulfate free, phthalate free, synthetic dye free, vegan and water-resistant.
Primer:
SPF 15, paraben free, fragrance free, nanoparticle free, gluteen free, sulfate free, phthalate free, synthetic dye free, oil free and vegan. ("A mineral-based primer with SPF 15 that evens skin tone, neutralizes redness and ensures a flawless makeup application. This clean, satin-finish formula helps keep makeup looking fresh, while absorbing excess oils and minimizing enlarged pores.")
There is just one foundation (No. 0 PORCELAIN) that is a shade lighter as No.1 and No.1.5 and I found that even No.1 was too dark for me in the beginning. As I already have had those little guys for about two months my skin got a bit sun-kissed so now No.1 suits me well but if you are fair (as I usually am) you might get No.0 (if you are really fair I imagine No.0 might not be the right choice for you but to be honest I haven't tried it out yet!).
I usually first apply the primer and wait for a few minutes to let it sink into my skin and either use my hourglass foundation (applied with a brush or with my fingers)  afterwards or just wear the primer on it's own as a sunscreen. You just need very little of this stuff and it feels and looks amazing on the face!
This foundation is also so finely melted that In my opinion this is the most beautiful foundation I've came across so far (as it somehow becomes part of your skin rather than just sitting on top of it) ! You can also just mix it with your normal face cream and create your own BB cream that gives you a lovely subtle and natural coverage throughout the day.

Upshot: lovely foundation, awesome primer, LOVE both and going to get more of them as soon as possible BUT, and now we come to the only negative point, they cost way too much! Got those foundations for 62
each ( which is around 78$!!) and the primer was even more expensive (65€).  I thought I've had foundations that were quite expensive but I've been totally disabused!

Enough of this, let's come to an end.

Kisses, kisses, kisses!

FOTN- Rainbow-Party-Eyes

Tag!
This one has been on my desktop for way too long! I wore this out about 2 1/2 months (!!) ago to a party (which started pretty bad for me cos I fell down some steep stairs from about the very top. It was horrible!)
Well, I found this picture on Facebook and it's by Ronnie from
Bows and Curtseys (thanks to Kassie!).
Fell in love with the make-up right away and needed to recreate it right away.
All products used are Lime Crime.
Inner corner to outer V-area: LIME CRIMINAL, TROUBADOUR, SHOE ADDICT, EMPRESS.
I might also have used a darker plum shadow in the crease or a blackish shadow. Don't remember! I think it looks lovely with brown eyes but it would look awesome with every other colour, too!
Here my pics:

Sending love to y'all!

China Glaze- My new love

Oh, hello!
Haven't seen you in a while! I hope everyone is doing great.
Well, as I already told ya I've been in Dortmund for quite a while catsitting my friend Anna's lovely little mouser. She lives just 15 mins away from the Thier Galerie
so I went there when I was bored and most of the time I spent in the city I was walking around shops annoying venders whether this and that product was vegan (I can be really mean when it comes to this, I can't stand people who lie to you 'bout that just trying to sell you any shit. I mean, if I ask someone if it is cruelty free  then that must be important to me and I don't want to be lied to!!)

So I found some interesting stuff that I will present to you later but this time I will show you my newest obsession: CHINA GLAZE- MIDTOWN MAGIC!
I've been loving and wearing it since I bought it 2 weeks ago and I am wearing it right now again<3
For those of you who might think  "come on, it's just a black glittery polish" I tell you: It's not!
It's more of a really really dark deep burgundy blackish color with fine gold glitter to it. I just LOVE this color. The first coat looks quite reddish why I think it's not just black but it gets darker with the second layer.
Okay, enough of my waffle of how much I love the color let's come to the most striking feature of this little magic bottle: In four days there was no chipping at all (!!) and in those four days I've worked really hard and have done some serious dish washing- just FAN-TAS-TIC!

Opacity: fantastic.
Drying time: fast.
Addictivity: very high!
Love: ABSOLUTELY!
Final thoughts: seriously dangerous.

Need to get more of those.

Sending love to y'all!
xxo
